So apparently lots of the comb that was cut down from the CC house was framed up upside down. Honestly this is the first time I’ve messed up this bad and I’m not sure how to fix it this early.
Hopefully at least one queen cell was put in the right way. I really wanted one of their queens to replace all of mine. These are tidy and very nice bees. I’d hate to introduce mean bees to them…
Went back and grabbed probably another pound and a half of bees from the extraction site. Now these bees will be booming.
I just hope that the bottom box of comb isn’t just completely melded together and terrible. I’ll check in on them in about a week and see if they have a queen and if they did well repairing their hive.
